Dr Patkar has been our dental family doctor.

QUICK REASONS - trustworthy, calm & safe pair of hands, top quality work, punctual, organised, hygienic clinic,

Elaborated reasons:

1- We trust him. We lived near his clinic in Santacruz in 1988 when first treated, and even now in 2017/18 travel 90 mins one way from Borivali (20+ Kms) for checkups.

If no treatment is required, he would say so clearly. And, if treatment is needed, he would examine+explain all possibilities including costs and quality, and then work according to our best needs, be it minor fillings or root canals, or as in my Mum's case, dental implants vs dentures.

All work+discussion done quickly, and very straightforward in clear language, so that no miscommunication happens.

2- He is patience personified while dealing with everyone. I remember my time as a scared kid in 1988, and know now about my 65+ Mom.

He can put a patient at ease when treating them, talking calmly while calming music plays in the background.

3- His work on root canals, cavities, bridges etc have lasted 15+ years in our family.

4- I haven't seen a cleaner clinic. Hygiene is a priority.

5- Punctuality - the doc is punctual and expects us to be so too. Thats the only issue I saw him get upset about at another patient once who was habitually late. He and his team value time, everybody's time, because treatment schedule is well organised.

6- Cost wise, I wouldn't know. Haven't ever gone anywhere else in Bombay. Tried Delhi & Lucknow dentists when I was posted there, their costs were lower, but I could never trust them. Their work was temp and it required Dr Patkar's work to fix the problems from such temp work earlier.

7- Would I recommend? Of course YES! Emphatically!
