In Jan 2020, I and my wife visited Mumbai for 4-5 days and my wife had severe pain with her lower right back tooth. We consulted Dr Shrutika and she said my wife has to undergo Root canal treatment. We got the root canal done in no time and she also gave the cap with the same with in 2 days. We were so relieved and satisfied with her quick, smooth and painless approach. In April 2020 my wife got pain in another tooth for which she took painkillers for 4-5 months and waited due to lockdown. We were scared of visiting any dental clinic in this corona times. But when the pain was unbearable we consulted a local Dr in our town. He did the root canal in 5-6 sittings but the pain didn't subside completely. Even after 2 months of getting treated from local Dr my wife couldn't chew from that side. We complained about the pain to the Dr so he removed the final filling without giving anesthesia and that procedure was extremely painful and reckless.That pain kept on increasing even after 10-12 days no matter how many medicines she take. She couldn't chew from the opposite side also due to swelling which made us rethink and then we decided to travel to Mumbai to get the treatment done from Dr Shrutika. Her confidence in her work made us fly to Mumbai for the root canal of the tooth even though Mumbai is the epicenter of Covid-19. We couldn't think of anyone else than Dr Jaju. We didn't want to take risk of consulting a new Dr as we were sure that we'll get the right treatment from her.She started the treatment by properly cleaning the tooth with medicated solutions and dressings and put her on necessary antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. She kept on re-calling us for the dressing every 5-6 days until she noticed improvement in her chewing pattern,mouth opening, surrounding muscle function and reduced swelling.And finally after 3 weeks of her hard work brought the tooth in function and there wasn't any noticeable swelling with that tooth. My wife was able to chew from that side. That's when Dr Shrutika decided to do the final filling and after that she kept my wife under observation for 2 more days to check whether she gets any pain or swelling. When everything was fine she allowed us to travel back to our town. It was a long term infection so took a lot of patience and recovery time but Dr Jaju's skills and confidence helped us get through this. We are back to our town without any pain or discomfort. We are forever grateful to such passionate Dr who doesn't miss out even a minute detail. Upon check-up the doctor told me about the required treatment of a re root canal procedure and implants that needed to be done. She also gave me multiple options that would fit as per my needed treatment plan. After discussing with the doctor, I first decided to get the re root canal procedure done and then make a decision on putting the implants. The procedure was completed by doctor in two sittings as there were some complications due to the way root canal was performed earlier. Once the treatment was completed, I decided to get the implants treatment also done by Dr. Shrutika because I felt very comfortable with the way she completed the treatment with lot of care. I have done the implants treatment as well at her clinic and I am very satisfied with the treatment.

Also, whenever I faced some pain, the doctor was easily approachable at her clinic and I was able to manage the pain with the medicines suggested by her.

First one was as I thought of tooth extraction, but doctor told me that she always try to save the tooth as much as possible. She said you may want to get the extraction done right now but later you will realize that this was not the right decision. Second option was to get the root canal treatment. She clearly said that my pain will go by extraction but root canal treatment is the best way to save the tooth and may take some time to completely heal.

After finishing the root canal treatment I can say that it was the right guidance that helped me take the right decision as now I am pain free. I would say Dr. Shrutika is one who values patient over money. As per her suggestion I opted for metal+porcelain cap. This was very cost effective for me. I am very impressed with Dr. Shrutika’s way of treatment and would recommend her to everyone.
