Our journey together , has taught me so much , I've grown as an individual, it's changed me , made me more positive , made me a better version of myself , a version that prioritizes myself without feeling as guilty as I used to. Like many others, I googled for a psychologist to help deal with my negative thoughts; Dr. Shamim came with very high recommendations, moreover she looked very approachable and friendly in her pic, so I decided to give it a chance, thinking, what is the max that can happen. Boy, was I wrong!!

In the first meeting itself, she put me at complete ease. Moreover, what's interesting is she uses indirect techniques to get to the root of your problem, making it easier to open up to her; its almost like she is reading your mind.

She is patient, empathetic, and an amazing listener. Her "Inner Child Healing" sessions helped me eradicate my negative feelings from the root. She also provided me with numerous practical techniques that I continue to use, even though our sessions have ended (I honestly cant believe it went on for 4 months, time really flies)

I also would like to point out her disciplined approach in conducting the sessions; it gave me structure and familiarity, and the cherry on the cake was her punctuality; she values your time, in turn she values you!.

She is also an eternal learner, which is truly inspirational.

I am writing this testimonial for Shamim Deshmukh of Oorja Counselling Center.

A few months ago, I had passed a referral to Shamimji for, a close acquaintance of mine (Name Witheld).

His parents had complained that he was having trouble with his academic performance and was unable to score good marks. Essentially, he was not able to focus on his studies.

After undergoing intensive counselling and therapy with Shamimji, I am very happy to say that he has scored over 85% in his 10th Standard SSC Board Examinations. His parents are overjoyed with this and have expressed their gratitude towards Shamim ma’am for her efforts and endeavor.

My 9 year old daughter got some skin infection on her legs and hand. Her Paedetrian prescribed some medicine but that didn't go. So with his reference we went to ask in speacilist. He said it was due to stress that she has got infected and prescribed a cream. However the same also didn't work so he gave a steroids for cure . We were reluctant to give and hence consulted another specialist who prescribed the same medicine. We were left with no option to give her. However even after a month there was no major difference in her infection. We knew shamim and thought should consult her to find out the reason for stress. During the first session it was identified that she had fear of unknown which was bothering her. In the next session she helped her to remove all the fear from her mind. Shamim is so friendly with kids that my otherwise reserved daughter was chatting with her like some of her own age. She gave her the confidence that there is no such fear and she is out of it. After her treatment next morning we were surprised to see her infection had reduced by 80℅ and the medicine have started working for her. It was truly a overnight miracle. I have been undergoing regression therapy with shamim since May 18 primarily for inability 2 concentrate or focus on work. after resolving issues of current lifetime like childhood, etc., which made me realise how I was wasting my emotional energy and consequently not left with any energy 2 work, there were certain issues that were not getting resolved regarding obsessing over other ppl and further improvements in marital life. hence I underwent past life regression and understood the underlying reasons to some extent. however since the issue was not getting resolved fully, I requested shamim for further sessions and even requested her to consult her professional peers and being the thorough professional she is, she consulted with her peers and decided to apply "lacing" technique which is identifying the underlying reasons for a problem since the 1st lifetime it ever occurred. so she took me back approx 3 lifetimes and helped me understand the underlying causes and helped me address it thru energy exchange. some of her techniques were outrightly brilliant which really helped me to overcome my obsession largely and which lead to a significant improvement in marital life. there have been clearly visible improvements in work also. but taking time to effect since it takes 3 weeks for new connections and 3 months for new pathways to happen in the brain. further because of the past life issues eczema had started appearing on my fingers which got resolved largely now. (ailments like migraine, asthma, skin disorders, stomach and digestive system issues, throat, addictions, etc., are psychosomatic disorders that could have roots in past life). Many thanks to Shamim for helping me out of my issues. all that she requires is 100% co-operation from patients which is what determines how much time the cure will take. for ppl who need to take anti stress anxiety or depression meds or who carry unnecessary fears like fear of flying, or with addictions like drinking, etc., or with any psychosomatic ailments (any ailments in body but not getting cured over long time with all possible medical treatment) it's must to undergo regression therapy and past life if required. however a warning....do past life only if doctor suggests and issues warrant it not out of fad, etc.

I found Shamim Mam via Practo and took the correct decision of taking sessions from her. She is an amazing mentor, she is very friendly and you will get awesome vibes form her. I liked going to her centre for taking Hyponotherapy sessions. She understood my situation perfectly and guided me in taking charge of my life. She explained important concepts to me with real life examples and that has immensely helped me. She is a very patient listener and you will feel free to be yourself. I felt that during my sessions with her, I had so much of emotional release which has made me more happier and healthier. Highly recommend her for counselling and hypnotherapy. I had consulted Dr. Shamim for my niece’s counselling who was going through lot of anxiety. My niece is based in USA and Dr.Shamim agreed for online counselling. She was flexible with day and time. My niece completed 8 sessions and she felt much better. My niece mentioned that Dr shamim made her feel absolutely comfortable and that she was able to vent out everything.
