Approached Dr. Roy for getting my long term Inguinal hernia treated. He detected the hernia on both the sides and decided to go for the laparoscopic TAPP method to put a mesh and fix it. I got admitted on a Saturday morning, 16th July 2016 at 8 am. My operation was conducted at around 1-1:30 pm. Not sure because I was not awake. I woke up at around 7 and was sent to my room. I was a bit drowsy because of the anaesthesia but did not have a lot of pain. I was made to stand even at night to pass urine and things were working just fine. Commendable job by the doctor as he made the operation seem so minor that even though the mesh has been put up on both sides, I feel no pain. Except for the slight stretchiness of the stitches. I can just say that I would recommend anybody going for a Hernia repair to visit Dr. Roy Patankar once. His professionalism and skills of hand will literally bowl you over.

I was very well taken care by each of the hospital staff pre and post my surgery. Dr. Roy is very humble and is a great surgeon. I visited the doctor Roy Patankar for a stomach issue on Thursday. After checking, the doctor recommended blood and stool tests and asked for a follow-up check after 3 days. I had a follow-up appointment for Monday afternoon. Just due to a delay in my test report, I called to reschedule the appointment and to my surprise, the receptionist told me the next follow-up appointment is available in September. If there is any urgency then visit the assistant doctor. Dr Roy Patankar is available for new patients but for follow-up, patients should wait for months.

I suggest going to a doctor who can give time to patients rather than just focusing more on new patients.
