The experience with dr Rajiv Bhagwat has been wonderful ..it all started when my dad fell of his bed in the night when going to the bathroom and he suffered a fracture in the thigh bone and the same night he started having chest pain so we took him to a nearby hospital where they told me to take him to another hospital as they didn't had a cardiologist available then one of my friend suggested dr Bhagwat s name and we rushed to nanavati hospital to meet him ...it was a scary moment but dr Bhagwat explained the situation calmly and made us understood ...what I liked the most that he wasn't more on the money part unlike others then the next day he performed angiography and found that there were too many blockages so he again explained us how we should go forward and what are the options dr Bhagwat then suggested that he should undergo a cabg (coronary artery bypass surgery )which for us was like a shocker but again I appreciate mr Bhagwat for making us understand and being there whenever needed he was so helpful that he made me calm and made me understood everything a day before surgery all my questions were properly answered unless I understood them the best part was that he knew exactly how should we deal with Cabg and the pfn surgery for the thigh bone.... all went well in the end my dad had a good cabg followed by the pfn surgery the recovery was good too and am really thankful to dr Bhagwat for guiding us and explaining everything in details even the follow ups are going great ...I couldn't thank him enough for what he did for my dad ...I would seriously recommend dr Bhagwat

My nephew suffered from cardiac arrest while he was driving is scooter in middle of the road. He was taken to a nearby nursing home while i called, Dr Bhagwat who made all out efforts including arranging an Ambulance and attended to the emergency . His timely response and expert handling of a complex surgery almost gave a fresh lease of life like a blessing to my nephew who has had another complications almost a decade later which was once again resolved through intricate surgery by Dr Bhagwat. His diagnosis and treatment are accurate and i recommend him to anyone whoever inquired for heart related ailment or consultation.

My call to Dr Rajiv Bhagwat was an SOS after a local hospital gave up on my father soon after he suffered from cardiac arrest. I found Dr Bhagwat to be extremely professional, an expert in his field and very forthcoming with the information I needed to make good decisions. He was truly God sent and our hospital experience, both pre-and post-operation, courtesy Dr Bhagwat, ensured we were in safe hands.

A follow-up through angiography two weeks ago revealed my father’s heart had significantly recovered, all stents were functioning perfectly with no reoccurrence and a good heart function compared to an alarming 15 percent heart function just six months ago. We are extremely fortunate to find a gem of a doctor during a crucial phase of our lives and will continue to recommend Dr Bhagwat to colleagues, friends, and family.

My Father-In -Law (Aaaba) Mr. Sudhakar Narayan Joshi, Dadar. Age 79 got heart attack during routine morning warm up Yoga at Shiwaji park. (5 June 2019)

He was quickly treated during the golden hour by Dr.Damale at Shushrusha.

Further Dr. Rajiv Bhagwat treated Aaba conducting Carotid Angioplasty and Stenting on the same day at 14:30 onward.

The life is saved, and thanks to Dr. Bhagwat, Dr.Damale and Shushrsha for swift, professional and appropriate health care and the treatment.

Aaba has the same cheerful smile on the face, no sign of any pain and very normal, standing on his feet just in the two days.

I highly recommend Dr Rajiv Bhagwat. He successfully performed angioplasty and stenting on my father. My father was feeling unwell and we immediately took him to Shushrusha hospital. After seeing abnormal ECG hospital called available cardiologist and god’s grace Dr Bhagwat was there. He explained us the necessity and urgency of the surgery throughly using angiogram to avoid the cardiac arrest. Immediately he performed the operation very successfully. It has been 1.5years and my father is living healthy life. Furthermore, every three months we see Dr Bhagwat for follow-up. He is very kind and friendly gentleman. Dr late night treatment at emergency was excellent, his family like treatments,have yet to see after reaching age of 76 such a doctor .At the time of angioplasty he gave during the positive ness, being very nervous.

It was 10 yrs back when I first came across him for my mom’ angioplasty. Within 10-15 min of first conversation, I knew I was in the right hands. He is a doctor but more a person who understands the patient and family, who does the “right thing”, With the right reasoning. He has become more a friend than a doctor ever since.
