My mother was diagnosed with dermoid cyst inside her ovaries as well as multiple fibroids in the uterus in February and due to the COVID-19 pandemic we had to wait a while to get her operated. In the very first visit, he took out time to explain me & my family the entire issue with each & every minute detail as well as showcased the past similar surgeries he has performed and helped us understand the manner in which he is going to approach this. He made sure we covered all bases since my mother also has a heart condition before admission only with various tests. We were even sceptical regarding whether the surgery needs to be done at a multi-speciality hospital or his hospital is okay, he advised us aptly there as well. And, he asked us to consult our heart surgeon as well once before the surgery. He performed a total hysterectomy to cure my mother's problem laparoscopically. The staff at the hospital, on his insistence, are giving my mother the best possible post-op care we could have asked for. Background :

My wife had an Endometrial Cysts which greatly reduced her chances of conceiving naturally, as the Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) level was .35 Most of the doctors and famous hospitals had laid out multiple iterations of IUI and IVF treatment costing in lakhs for us.

On a friends recommendation we decided to try out Dr Sankpal, On our first visit he explained in great detail about endometriosis and that AMH is just one of the many indicators for infertility and not the absolute one.

Since we were on right side of age, he recommended rather counselled us go for the natural way before jumping to IUI and IVF.

Earlier I had been to couple of renowned & experienced Gynaecologists in Mumbai for my problems. I would highly recommend Dr Rajendra Sankpal for any OB/GYN related issues. After various consultations in the USA and Mumbai, I had the good fortune of meeting with Dr Sankpal to help advise and surgically treat my fibroid.

Throughout the surgery my mum and brother were kept updated on progress being made inside the OT – kudos to the operating staff assisting Dr Sankpal. It was a complex surgery given the location and size of my fibroid. My relatives were given visibility of the fibroid up on initiating the surgery via the HD monitors and were also able to understand the scale of the complexity visually. Dr Salyankar, the anaesthesiologist was excellent as well, constantly motivating me and ensuring I smoothly entered and exited General Anaesthesia (GA).

The nursing staff at the SAGE hospital were friendly, caring, attentive and supportive. They built a great rapport with me and vice versa which took the sting out of the inevitable pain one experiences temporarily post-surgery. The hospital has state of the art hospital rooms equipped with real time monitoring equipment and comfortable, clean rooms that have a feeling of home and comfort. It also really helps that Dr Sankpal lives really close so that gave great assurance in case an emergency may have arisen (which didn’t!). As a result, I had a smooth post-operative recovery and was discharged in a few days to get back home.

In short my experience was far beyond my expectations.

I had to undergo hysterectomy. I had lot of apprehensions about going in for the surgery (this maybe a common feeling before any surgery). Although, this was all put away right from my first meeting with Dr Sankpal. He ensured that I understood each and every part of the process and also I got the understanding of why there was a need for the surgery. Throughout the time he was super calm and composed answering all my doubts (however silly they were). This definitely helped me to put my anxiety to rest. With his vast experience he understands the patients really well. Important to mention the cleanliness of the mini hospital which works like a family, warmth, soothing music the whole day, home cooked food due to covid, reasonable billing considering the complications involved, perfect paperwork from the team for mediclaim (not further questions asked by insurance company and full claim settled within a month), post operative followups nd his personal attention to all the above in details.

Within a month i had referred him to a close friend whose young daughter had some complications which dr sankhpal eased out as compared to what other doctors had advised extreme.

I was diagnosed with ovarian cyst around March’20. Initially my surgery was scheduled at one of the renowned hospitals in Mumbai.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic my surgery was kept on hold by the hospital. After a wait of three months we were informed to get the surgery done from a local or tertiary hospital. Dr Rajendra Sankpal is my hero and without a doubt he is one of the best medical doctors I have even seen in 38 years of my life! Doctor has explained the process deeply and answered all queries. Doctors hand is really magical, my wife started walking very next day after open surgery. Staff is very caring, polite and highly experienced. Surgery day was full of pain but staff and doctor has handled my wife like baby. Hospital stay was not hospital stay it was more like HOME stay. My wife is having lot of medicine allergies, was our main worry, but doctor handled it property.

Dr. Rajendra also has been very friendly with a down-to-earth personality.

Hospital is well equipped, doctor and his full team is highly experienced. After surgery all team doctors was explaining me all details as and when possible.
