An example of a relevant advice - Suggested not to use ear buds (Q-tips) at all. His opinion is that skin of ear is not as sturdy as that of hands and is easily bruised by objects like ear buds.

Another example, he asked me to not start with antibiotics right away. Asked to wait 3-4 days and see if its a viral infection and goes away by itself. No pointing taking antibiotics unless its bacterial.
