Ms. Pooja Sharma

Let's see...I visited Ms Pooja first in July 2017. It was mainly for my social anxiety and getting my life back together. I've been visiting her since then periodically and have slowly decreased my visits since I've been getting better. My last visit was roughly in Mar 2020. I used to go to their Borivali Branch.

I was living abroad and started facing some issues with my sleep which caused a lot of anxiety. It went on for a couple of months and I did consult a doctor abroad. However things did not seem to improve and the sleep deprivation had caused a lot of distress and I was feeling really depressed and low. I also started to feel home sick and so I decided to visit home after a span of a few months. When I visited India, I did consult a couple of doctors in regards to the issue I was facing but wasn't completely satisfied. After some research, I got to know about Dr. Mohit Shah and decided to consult him. I explained my situation to him and he started the treatment from there on . As a part of the treatment I started to take some therapy sessions with his co-doctor & Therapist Dr. Pooja Sharma, to whom I explained my entire situation as well. She was very patient in hearing me out and once I gave a complete background of the situation she started with the therapy. Dr. Pooja was very motivating and she gave me many tips on how to counter the current situation I was in which really helped me immensely. Each session lasted for almost an hour and Dr. Pooja was very understanding and made me feel very comfortable through the entire therapy. She was able to relate as to what I was going through at that point which I feel was so very important. She also kept motivating me and helped me identify a lot of positives within myself which helped me counter the situation . There were regular sessions over a period of a couple of weeks and Dr Mohit & Dr Pooja were very supportive in the entire process. They checked on me regularly and accordingly altered the medication based on my improvement. Once I returned back abroad, Dr. Pooja continued to check on me through emails and we also had a video session in which I provided an update on my current well being. The entire treatment was really well carried out and today I am off the medication, well recovered and I owe my recovery to them.

I’ve been with other psychologists and I think I felt the most understood by Dr. Pooja. She’s really understanding so most of the problems feel gone.

The doctor is very considerate of our all queries. She is very very friendly and humble. Do not hesitate to ask any query. Be completely honest and open with her. She will in all possible way guide you to the best solution. The best part is she will treat you as a friend and not as a patient.
