She had worked in Family Clinics with the Indian Navy as a counsellor, PNVM Hospital, Cochin as a consultant psychologist, and Tortures Prevention Centre by International Rehabilitation Council for victims of Torture (IRCT) (a United Nations project) as a Head of Department. She is invited as a guest lecturer for Post Graduate Students at SNDT, University. As a DG Shipping Certified trainer she is invited as a speaker at Board of Examiners, DG Shipping and Naval Maritime Academy for lectures on communication, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Multi cultural/multi linguistic interpersonal relations in sea farers. She is regularly called for her opinion as a psychologist by leading newspapers in the country.
