Dr. Ishani Chakravarty

I met Dr. Ishani a year ago in Nov'17.. from the outset I felt comfortable with her.. she is a caring doctor.. she told me on my face within 5 mins of meeting me that she can not work miracles.. I will have to be patient.. my skin will be fine but it would take time.. she the. explained every procedure, gave me choices and help me choose one..it was my confidence and trust on her due to which I decided to get Laser of intimate area from her.. from the first time, I have seen so much difference.. I am very happy with Laser Therapy results and would recommend to everyone who doesn't like getting waxed..

Recently i had an appointment with Dr. Ishani for skin infection, she examined the condition well, explained the cause of infection, as in all the why's of problem and how's of solutions, and prescribed a few ointments and medication.As of now I can't say that i'm satisfied with treatment, as i have to wait for approx a month to see the results.

Overall I had a good experience, she seemed humble & friendly.

Dr ishani is very efficient and in just 2 sittings i have got rid of the whiteheads and blackheads on my face.She also helped me with my hairloss.She is not only efficient but keeps monitoring,takes necessary measures and proactively takes care of her patients.i highly recommend everyone to visit doctor ishani for any skin issues.

The doctor prescribed steroid based creams and gels for my acne and rashes which has led to steroid-induced acne now. The medicines were only a quick fix to the problem and not a permanent or satisfactory cure, rather not a cure at all. The skin remained fine as long as I used the products but the day I stopped using them, the problem resurfaced again!

My skin has major acne and dryness and inflammation now due to all those steroid based creams which no other doctor prescribes because steroid base should not at all be applied directly on skin (as advised by other doctors).

My friend wanted to consult about a wart on the forehead. The doctor looked very rushed and very lost. Talking to herself and immediately recommending to surgically remove the wart. We also agreed to it.

However, it got scary when the doctor just asked the patient to hold a plate connected to electric plug. On asking the purpose of it, she just didn't tell anything. She was in such a hurry to get over with it. Lost confidence and the patient walked out.

The doctor might be good, but needs to be more consultative and patient. Bad experience.

Dr. Ishani is an excellent doctor.She is very sincere and listens to the complete history before approaching the course of treatment . I met her during my last trip to Powai ,Mumai and was very happy with her treatment. Thank you doc and thanks for the follow up !!!

I had a boil in my butt which was causing me grave trouble... Even though the conversation with the doctor was good and her explanation nice, she denied examining it directly... I booked the appointment as she was the only skin specialist available on Practo near to my location at that moment...

She prescribed medicines after referring to Google images and verifying if that is how the boil appears. *** ******* ** *** ********** ***** ******

If the doctor reads this, it's a request to not prescribe medicines without examining the problem directly...

If the pain continues I might end up booking an appointment with another doctor...

I cant say yet if i am satisfied, but she was really friendly and helpful.

i was asking to the doctor to do acne injection but she said i didnt need that, like i used to do it in bali with my dermatologist.

I still got my acne and i feel the inflammation is still underneath the skin bc i can feel it, yesterday the doctor just took out the white head.. i'm not really satisfied with this..

but after 3 days i would definitely come and ask her to do the injection

so far.. the doctor is really nice, the clinic is pretty clean

I called her through Practo and she helped me with explanation of what needs to be done on the phone itself without worrying about fees or anything. A very helpful doctor who is dedicated to helping others even at this kind of crisis. Thank you Dr., will surely visit once the lockdown ends.
