Dr. Vachan J Shetty , Founder and Director of Welcare Dental Cosmetic Centres in Mumbai is a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, USA. He completed his undergraduate Degree in Bachelors and Masters in Dental Surgery in the Field of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics from Sri Dharamshala Manjunatheshwara College of Dental Sciences & Hospital in the university of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore in the year 2004. Having achieved a Noticeable Degree in Endodontics in Dentistry, Dr Vachan Shetty started his Carrier in his Hometown Mangalore by joining the Yenepoya Dental College in Mangalore in 2002. Here he trained Students there to achieve Excellence in the Field of Endodontics for a year before deciding to move his base to Mumbai. In 2004, Dr Vachan Shetty, in an attempt to expand his horizons he moved to Mumbai where he established Welcare Dental Centre Pvt Ltd. where he performed more than 40000 Root canals, Thousands of implants and various Full mouth Rehabilitation cases over the years. He also joined Terna Dental College & Hospital (Nerul, Navi Mumbai). Here Began his Journey of never looking back and Various Dental Institutions from all over the country started approaching him to join their institution. His journey then took him to various places from S.M B.T Dental College & Hospital. (Sangamner, Ahmednagar) to Guardian College of Dental Sciences & Research Centre (Ambernath/Thane). In 2006, during his path to search for excellence Dr. Vachan Shetty never gave up education and enrolled himself in numerous Implant and Laser courses including the Practices and Studies of innovative Implant Systems, IBS implant Systems, Korea.Dr. Vachan Shetty has attended various National and International Conferences during his carrier and has presented Scientific Paper Presentations as well. His excellence in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry was appreciated by people all throughout India and as a token for his contribution to Cosmetic Dentistry he was awarded with various awards namely: Model Star Awards - Best Bollywood Dentist. Aap Ki Awaaz- Best Dentist In Mumbai, Bharat Ratan- Best Dentist Award, Aap Ki Awaaz- Best Dental Clinic, GEM Of India- Best Cosmetic Dentist Award, GEM Of India- Individual Achievements and Nation Building Award- Individual Acievements in the field of Cosmetic Dentistry With a clinical Experience for 17 years, he has achieved the milestone of 40000 Root canals. His patients include everyone from top Bollywood celebrities to Industrialists, head Honchos from the corporate world to NRIs, prominent Doctor to expatriates to locals. Dr Vachan Shetty is a life Member of Indian Dental Association- Dental Professional and life Member, Indian Society of Prosthodontics- Restorative- Periodontics (ISPRP), Society for Oral Laser Application. ( Affiliated to European Society For Oral Laser Application), Indian Endodontic Society, Indian Society for Conservative Dentistry, Andheri Medical Association, Indian Academy of Laser Dentistry Dr . Vachan Shetty is also a Consulting Dentist at Criticare Group of Hospitals and presently practices Cosmetic Dentistry at Welcare Dental And Cosmetic Centre, Andheri and Bandra in Mumbai.
