Had visited Dr Sonal Kumta for my delivery and also the removal of ovarian cyst. Was extremely happy the way she handled both the deliveries and the operation. She ensured that all the details of my health condition are explained very clearly and without creating a panic. She attended to all my quries patiently and guided me very well both pre operation and post operation. Had a few complications during my deliveries, but it was handled very well by Dr Kumta. Would recommend her highly.

From the beginning itself I found her extremely approachable . She didn’t enforce any additional tests and the way she dealt to the pregnancy was very systematic

She was very patient with all the queries I had, and also gave me immense support and courage till the day I delivered.

Her team at Fortis hospital mulund ( Dr Sonoli , Dr Shivani ) ensured a safe delivery and I was very well taken care of throughout my stay there.

I am 37 years old and conceived my first baby a few months back. I visited Dr. Sonal Kumta, who asked about my health history and suggested all necessary tests. She explained everything in detail and answered all my questions, which is amazing because she takes care of her patients very well. My case was a high-risk pregnancy, so all the necessary tests were done on time. In the third trimester, my platelets went severely down and I had been asked to get admitted; however, with the help of Fortis Hematologist right treatments were given to increase the platelet count. Dr. Sonal was fully prepared for all scenarios and we were explained all possibilities in detail for delivery. Very safe delivery was done considering all risks for my health and also for the baby's health. We are very thankful to meet such an amazing doctor.

Mine was a high risk pregnancy due to age and diabetes. I am thankful to God that I met Dr Kumta. Straight forward, caring & genuine. My major milestones during my pregnancy, -With slight change in diet and walking for 45 min daily and guidance from diabetologist suggested by Dr Kumta, I lost 14 kgs.-My HBA1C was detected 8.5 (ideal <6) came down to 5.5.-My NIPT report was in low risk grp.-Every blood, urine and sonography report turned out to be positive.Everything is possible with good support and guidance and with positivity in mind, willingness to work hard and give your 💯%. Visited Dr. Kumta for prenatal care and delivery of my wife Shashi from almost 1st month of her pregnancy. She explained each and every step in pregnancy and guided us in detail. Since age of my wife was little concern, she suggested relevant tests, sonographies at various stages so the there should not be any doubt and all possibilities are ruled out. Also it was a time of covid pandemic during my wife's pregnancy . During this time she supported emotionally and mentally. She built confidence and positivity in us. Doctor also conducted the C section surgery with atmost care and precautions.

I must say Dr. Kumta has given us joy of bundle safely in our hand during this pandemic situation.

She has her own clinic in Mulund West and attached to Fortis Hospital Mulund.******** ** *** ********* *** end to end treatment of the patient.

She has handled critical cases as well in her career and among them was one of them was my relative's.

Very thorough professional and a good doctor, she was our doctor from conception to delivery , she did an excellent job, patient suffered from preeclampsia and mild HELLP she was able to diagnose and give timely treatment and wife underwent surgery and healthy baby was delivered

Excellent doctor. A must recommend! I had a normal delivery in Jan this year and the doc was with me during the entire duration of my labor making all possible attempt that I go for a normal one as I had all the possible chances. At one point I gave up for a normal one and asked for a c section but she still insisted that I try more and there was it that my baby came to this world all healthy and hearty through normal delivery. A doctor you can trust and have faith in!

I had seen the doc for my entire period starting from pre-conception checkups to the delivery and Dr sonal handled all test/checkup very well. She won't ask for any test that are not required and don't unnecessarily burden you with checkups and test. She goes with the normal flow and do as per the need.
