And this is where we 1st consulted him regarding my mother's Gastric, Acidity and Abdominal problems relating to food digestion. He recommended thorough blood tests like:

CBC (Total Blood Count),

SGPT+SGOT (Liver),

Creatinine (Kidney),

CEA etc. And also

Full Abdomen (USG) Sonography,

At Gokuldham Medical Center, Goregaon East, Mumbai (400063).

And concluded that since above results/tests are good except for Low Hemoglobin count, my mother should be admitted for Blood Transfusion and also a final test of Endoscopy + Colonoscopy at either of the 3 Hospitals of:

Saifee, Breach Candy or Jaslok here in South Mumbai where he is an OnPanel Medical Practitioner. He also informed us well in advance that these 2 procedures will take 2-3 days (major chunk will be taken up by Blood Transfusion process) where as Endoscopy and Colonoscopy are just small procedures taking not more than 20-25 mins. in total.

We chose Jaslok Hospital and it was a really good experience and cared treatment by the very humble, calm, composed and talented Dr.Samit Jain Sir. He gave us full assurance and confidence to the underlying tests of Endoscopy and Colonoscopy and said he himself will be doing this procedure on my mother and there will be no scope of tension required from our end. My mother was admitted under Mediclaim and after successful Blood Transfusion in 2 days and with a healthy level of Hemoglobin the 3rd day was reserved for Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. On this day, my mother was administered Local Anesthesia and within 20-25 mins both the procedures/tests were carried out by Dr. Samit Jain Sir.

When asked, my mother said she had already slept due to the light Anesthesia administered and didn't feel a thing. She was surprised when Dr. Samit Jain Sir tapped her forehead and informed her smilingly that the procedure has been completed successfully and he will update her and myself with his clinical findings.

We are very thankful to his Care, Kind nature and his thorough Expertise in diagnosing the problem and administering light yet effective medicines to my mother for her gastric, acidity and abnormal bowel issues due to infection and ulcer in her Food pipe.

I am also very glad that such expert Doctors do not stick to just one area of Mumbai City (South Mumbai) alone but take efforts to travel to other parts of Mumbai Suburbs to treat needy people like us (my mother).
