I suffered from a prolapsed disk in my lower back earlier this year and for months consulted multiple Orthopedic surgeons and tried all treatment options from physical therapy to getting nerve blocks but nothing worked and I was left bed bound unable to move an inch without pain. That is when got introduced to Dr Rahul Rane. After talking to him, I immediately had a sense of convincing comfort and decided to undergo surgery for my back as recommended by him and as the last option having exhausted all other available avenues of treatment. By the time of my surgery, i was completely confined to my bed due to unbearable pain and forget walking, i could not even sit or stand for more than a minute even with support. But within a week after Dr.Rahul operated on me, I started walking my way towards recovery! Within a fortnight since the surgery, not only am I able to walk fine without support, I have gradually been able to get back to my daily chores. He is one of those very few Surgeons (and I consulted with a lot of them!) who really listens to his patients, thoroughly understands the entire problem and gives the perfect diagnosis and takes time to explain all options and prognosis. I am sure that had I reached out to him at an earlier stage, he would’ve helped me recover without even undergoing a surgery. I have been suffering from L4-L5 disc herniation and was prescribed loads of painkillers and given cruthes in UK, my surgery would be on 8 month's waiting list. So I decided to come to my motherland for treatment. I went to couple of doctors but they could not gain my confidence, I felt they were impractically expensive.

Then I met Dr Rahul Rane, he advised me that the best solution for all my pain was a Discactomy and assured me that his techniques of using endoscopy would mean minimum strain on my spine. He gave me proper explanations with pros and cons of going for this surgery; so that I could make an informed decision. It's been 14 days now for the surgery, I am recovering very well. As i was in very bad state with Lumbar Radiculopathy in right leg, it is taking some time to get back the complete sensation in my leg.

I have recovered almost 90% of what is experienced. If it was not for Dr Rahul Rane, I would still be suffering from that excruciating pain and agony. I am extremely thankful to him. I will be going back to UK in 2 weeks from now. Next 3 month's I have been advised to extremely cautious and careful.

I am so thankful to be pain free and happy to resume back to my normal life. I would recommend Dr Rahul Rane to anyone with spine or orthopedic illness.

Dr. Rahul Rane has been an excellent professional. My father and my wife, both were operated upon by Dr. Rane for their respective injuries in the last one year's time. He did an excellent job.

It has been COVID times and he made sure that we were taken care of and anxieties of hospitalisation during COVID times were minimised.

My father is able to walk normally without any support. He is 84 years of age. His hip replacement was done by Dr. Rane.

My wife too has almost resumed her normal activities as her knee surgery was conducted two months back. Am sure she will be up to her normal being very soon.

Dr.Rahul Rane treated my mother Age 78 years for her hip bone fracture recently at Raksha Andheri Hospital. I consulted Dr Rahul Rane post having knee injury. Initially I was bit nervous and scared when I came to know that I will have to undergo a surgery for this injury.

My 14 yrs old son Atharva Panchal had spine surgery done by Dr. Rahul Rane to treat Potts decease on 28th April 2021 at Hiranandani Hospital, Powai. This pandemic my back side neck swelled up with pain,gradually my pain grew up with fever & very less neck movement. Fortunnately I met a Doctor Rahul Rane MS Orthopedic via practco.
