He worked in the capacity of the Vice-President (2004-2005) and President (2005-2006) of the Indian Dental Association (Mumbai Branch). He started his private practice in 1977 and, since then, has steadfastly climbed the ladder of growth. He was an Honorary On–Panel dentist at L&T, ONGC and STC. He has taken a keen interest in conducting Continuing Dental Education programmes and also conducts dental camps in association with the Government of India. He is a regular at Continuing Dental Education programs in the city which enables him to be updated with the latest technologies and most recent advances in dentistry.
He has fostered more than 40 budding dentists, at his own clinic, under his able guidance, who have now gone ahead to run their own successful practice in different parts of the world.
