Thought of leaving a detailed review as there’s a lot to say about Dr. Anita Soni – hope its helpful to anyone who is planning to visit (and I hope you all who read this please do visit Dr. Anita Soni). We have been consulting by Dr. Soni for last 8 years and she has been more than a doctor in real sense for our family. Our first son was born in 2014. We reached Dr. Soni during the end of 6 months of pregnancy after visiting multiple local and larger hospitals in Thane and Mumbai. At 6 months we were told by one of the biggest hospitals in Mumbai (specializing in only Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology) that baby needs to be delivered) done immediately which India was probably not prepared in 2014. There were extreme complications and we reached Dr. Soni with the hope that she will do some wonders and she did more than anyone can even imagine during such a situation. With being asked to deliver in 6 months (that too C-section) to a normal delivery after full term (39 weeks) can only be achieved by Dr. Anita Soni. She is God sent to us. Only doctor that I know of pushes for a normal delivery – cares for every patient and babies like their family. My elder one is 8 and by god’s and Dr. Soni’s grace he is heartly and healthy. Since our treatment by Dr. Soni in 2014, my entire family, all my friends visit only Dr. Anita Soni and I can confidently say on behalf of everyone in my friends and family who got treated by Dr. Soni that every single family is extremely happy and feel exactly as I do. Our second baby got delivered by Dr. Soni in November 2022. Throughout the pregnancy, she guided us like a mentor with her expertise. While, Dr. Soni had met with an accident a few days prior to the day we got admitted – she has a fracture in the leg, broken ribs and face injury and yet she gave us more time than any other Doctor would ever do. While we were worried on who will do the delivery, Dr. Soni was there with us throughout and she did a normal delivery even as this time there were challenges and any other doctor would have lost the patience, Dr. Soni supported us and got the normal delivery done. She is a balance between professionalism, sharpness, skillfulness and care and friendliness. At first, her shorter consultation time did irk us, but then we realized that this changed as the Dr. realized that we were not out ‘window shopping’.

A gem of a person, Dr. Soni insists on going the natural way and may come across as rude or arrogant to some. She explained us the basics and made us realize that pregnancy is not a disease and has to be savored than dreaded. For those who want their Dr. to prescribe endless medications, tests, fancy fitness classes and pilates and zumbas, she might come as a ‘let down’. She insists on doing tasks at home, usual squats and chores to prepare the body and the mind. She is not one to pamper and soothe the softer souls who are looking for a shoulder to cry on. She suggests parents to ‘man-up’ and walks her talk.

Her integrity was clear when she advised us against stem cell bank which is largely a sham. The hospital staff and facilities were very good and we had no challenges at any given time. The Dr’s diagnosis, prescription and suggestions were top notch and we never ever had second thoughts.

On the day of delivery, she was leading from the front, taking the right decisions, standing on one foot, early at 5 AM and her team was engaged at 200% efficiency. Thanks to Dr. Soni, my wife had a smooth and normal delivery and she could resume normal work within 24 hours. We are thankful to her, like many others before and after us.
