My mother was having severe pain because of knee injury. This is when we learnt of a Total Knee replacement camp at Bhatia hospital.

We visited the camp and were lucky to meet Dr Ameet Pispati sir. He was kind and friendly enough to explain the problem and suggested solution in TKR. My mother was operated at Bhatia hospital and my mom’s knee’s have got a rebirth after the operation. After the good news of a successful operation by Ameet sir, we felt she should be younger by another 5-10 years :). His coordination with the entire support staff at Bhatia hospital ( the physio’s, medical & non-medical staff) was excellent.

3.30 pm - Operation successful

6.15 pm - my mother walked a small distance with the help of physio. wow.

It was a great experience, especially to see the patient standing on her feet on the first day of operation itself.

Another nice thing was Ameet sir's professionalism in providing continuous attention to his patient, post operation. He used to visit every day, seek minute details and suggest a thing or two wherever necessary.

We have suggested his name for a few of our family and friends who are looking for TKR solutions and would do the same in future. Every individual should get Ameet's sir experience for his/her benefit.

He further explained carefully the treatment plan. Even though the consultation was done at Bhatia and Jaslok Hospital; the surgery was performed at Breach Candy Hospital. He has excellent post operation care. With two and half months apart, I am grateful all surgeries went well and I am free of pain and can walk freely without a crutch.

I could not walk before my resurfacing operation, and also lost hope that i will not be able to walk again. But after the operation I had started not only walking, but have a very normal comfortable life. Its not only me, but seen many like me who got operated by Dr. Amit Sir and having comfortable life.... its as good as new life for me..
