The comment posted is flawed and medically incorrect. It befits more as an act to defame, rather than a feedback. His comments are defamatory and illogical. A lay man without a medical license is commenting that medicines /antibiotics were not required, even though he had a cut on his palm. In fact It was on his request that I vaccinated him (as the same could have even been also omitted as an option). Moreover, it is not a scientific practice to cover /dress the area of vaccination site (unlike other sites eg where iv phlebotomy has been performed) He was given a medicated cotton swab to compress the site which stopped the very slight/ insignificant ooze immediately.(the injection was given by a very fine im needle and the oozing stops very fast) The Fees too was charged only as mentioned i.e Rs 300 /=for Consultation(although as per terms mentioned on the practo site I am also free to charge fee as per my choice)The other charges were for extra items and were very reasonable and are never included in the consultation fees) viz Rs 200/= for vaccination and Rs130/= for the medicines which totally amounts to Rs.630 however Only Rs 600/= was charged and not Rs 630. Had he gone to any reputed hospital the doctor's fee alone and registration charges and taxes etc would have easily exceeded Rs 800/= leave aside the medicine costs and vaccination fees. It would be ironical to observe that whereas even a compounder or a para medical staff would charge the same amount for vaccination and which he would have readily paid, even a hair salon would have charged more for a make up and which he would have readily paid but its a pity that a qualified and senior medical practitioner with so many years of experience is blamed for such rightful fees which although a petty amount was charged as explained above and this attitude appears pathetic and derogatory on his part for behaving with a senior medical professional in this manner after having received prompt and efficient medical treatment. I don't agree with any of the points, a patient cannot dictate or demand the treatment as per his whims and fancies to a qualified doctor and then even not be ready to pay the reasonable fees for the medical services rendered to him and then behave in the manner above and deliberately attempt to defame me by way of medically and factually incorrect remarks with the sole aim to cause professional loss and mental harassment to the Dr.
