After finishing his training and National Board certification from the prestigious Apollo Hospital Hyderabad he worked as Senior Registrar in Bombay Hospital, KEM and Nair Hospital. He served as Assistant Prof. in K J Somaiya Medical College Mumbai and DY Patil Medical College Mumbai.
He is trained in Upper Limb Arthroscopy and Sports Injuries at Asan Medical Center Seoul South Korea, which is the biggest, and World-renowned center in South Korea. He is the first Indian to be appointed as Research Prof along with his clinical fellowship at Ulsan Medical Center associated with Asan Medical Center. He has made some outstanding contributions in Shoulder and Elbow research with more than 20 international publications and multiple patents to his credit.
