Dr. Thakur earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from MUHS in first class. Dr. Thakur then completed his Masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and was a topper in his batch. His master thesis was selected for publication in a prestigious international journal. Post completion of his masters, Dr. Thakur conducted research on stability implants in mandible and maxilla bone and got it published in International journal of Orthodontics.
Dr. Thakur has also received numerous awards and accolades. His paper on implant stability got the first prize at Maharashtra dental conference.
