There is a term in this line of practice,"genuine doctors" and I tell you from my own experience that Dr Alaknanda is one of them. She has empathetic listening skills along with holistic approach of prognosis is excellent. Focus on nutrition and lifestyle is something she emphasises a lot as opposed to doctors who are in a hurry to fill their prescription pads. We were in panic mode when we took an appointment. We had been taking treatment from another doctor in Mulund for about 15 days and my daughter had not got any relief. In fact things had gotten even more bad. When we stepped into the doctors clinic, we were surprised to see her. She looked like a teenager. But she took a lot of effort. She cleaned up the affected area and applied medication; something the other doctor never did in all the 4 visits we made to her clinic. Dr. Alakananda patiently listened to everything we had to say and asked a lot of questions. She was really concerned and keen to ensure quick recovery. She spent about an hour with us. Her fees were only Rs. 400 which was hardly anything compared to the other doctors fees. Now my daughters problem has been taken care. We are very grateful to Dr. Alakananda. Thanks a lot for the care you gave my daughter. God bless you! May your tribe increase!

The reason I believe that her meds will work is because she was receptive, she listened to the symptoms, investigated for what she was looking for, and even explained the purpose of each and every medicine.
