Had a booking with the doctor that had been scheduled a couple of days in advance for my wife, who needed to get an endoscopy. When we reached the hospital, the nurse informed us the doctor will take another hour to reach! Endoscopy requires one to be without food or water for 8 hours, so my wife was already dealing with hunger and thirst. She has an extremely fast metabolism and gets headaches if she doesn't eat every few hours. When we asked the nurse why we weren't informed that we can wait at home for another hour, she called the Dr. Nitin and asked us to speak to him, who I must say, was quite rude and arrogant over the call. He said don't worry, I've asked the nurse to put your wife on saline. I'll be there in 15-20 mins ****** *** * *** ******* *** ***** *** **** ** **** ** *** **** **** **** *** ********* ******** When I told him that if he could've informed us, we could have planned better - it just takes one text message, he said let me explain how doctors work. I told him I understand, my family is full of doctors (which it is). At this point he said, ok, I'll give you two options, either you can wait for me to arrive or you can cancel, I have no problem. If this is the kind of arrogance and lack of compassion a doctor can exhibit, my wife and I definitely didn't want him performing an intrusive medical procedure. ** ******** **** ****** ** ***** ***** ** ***** **** ******* ********** His nurse was equally uncaring, she was very upset that we asked her more than 2 questions ***** *** ***** ****** ********* ** **** ***** ***** ******** ****** ******* **** * **** *** ***** *** ** ****** **** ** **** ** ***** **** *** **** ** **** **** ** *********** * ***** ********** *** **** ****** **** **** * ****** ** **** ********. My 7 year old daughter was suffering from constant abdomen pain and headaches. It was increased to such an extent where we had to hospitalized her for 8 days straight. Later, she was discharged and bought back home. But after around 2-3 days she experienced the same symptoms again and while we tried connecting with the doctor from the hospital...her condition worsened under his supervision. After a terrible experience at the hospital, Dr. Nitin Aherrao and his team amused me and made Me believe my daughter will be cured again, in the position where I had lost everything and was broken to pieces. I am Heartily thankful towards Dr. Nitin Aherrao and Practo was such genuine and excellent suggestion.

Dr. Prashant Rane recommended us to visit Dr. Aherrao since my mother was suffering from diarrhoea on and off for several months. Basic medicines stopped the problem for a while but it relapsed often.

When we first met Dr. Aherrao, he explained us that we need to diagnose the problem before treating it. Which is an important step for any treatment.

Since my mother has multiple health issues he first asked about her medical history.

He advised endoscopy and colonoscopy during the procedure he called me in and revealed that my mother has intestinal ulcer. We were quite lucky enough to had it diagnosed properly before it deteriorated any further.

He suggested biopsy, luckily it turned out to be a normal ulcer nothing malign. He immediately started treatment, she was prescribed medicines for next 4 months.

Today we had another colonoscopy follow up and happy to announce that my mother’s ulcer is cured and she is doing fine.

We really appreciate the efforts Dr. Aherrao is taking to not only to treat patients but to make them aware that right diagnosis can save many lives.

WHAT A DOCTOR HE IS. First time I felt, every penny of the consultation fee was WELL SPENT. I’m super satisfied with his diagnosis and consultation and would LOVE TO VISIT AGAIN. And would also recommend relevant friends and relatives to him.
