I know dr Khanna since 2007. He treated my father and now I also go to him. One of the most professional doctors. Does though check. Does not prescribe medication if not required. He will ask you to do a number of tests to be sure that nothing else is wrong. I am very happy with his treatment. I am currently on no medication. I only follow his recommendations in diet. Amazing experience overall. He is very busy though. Even then he listens to every patient. He doesn’t miss anything. He works long hours and is always Available for his patient s. Only draw back would be the long waiting hours in his clinic. But its definitely worth it.

Highly unprofessional doctor, poor experience.
I visited him along with my senior citizen mother on 27.06.2018 with prior discussion on the given number for consultation, were were advised to reach by 6 pm. In order to avoid wait we reached on time and after a wait of over 20 minutes we were surprised to learn that doctor would arrive only at 7. On enquiring with reception as to why were called at 6 if the doctor himself would arrive only an hour later , the girl said that there are a few of us who would be taking case history of each patient meanwhile. In the garb of taking case history we noticed a few youngsters moving around chit chatting with patients and jotting down details. I am sure none of them has formal medical qualification, their discussion would eventually play no role in the consultation.
Doctor arrived at well past 7 and after a wait of over an hour we were taken in only at 8. Barely two minutes discussion and he advised various tests on the paper of suburban diagnostic with name and number of one Amit printed on it, which we of course now know why !!! Surprisingly when it came to paying fees I was asked to pay 2000 for myself and 1500 for mother and different people were paying different amounts with no rationale that I could wrap my head around. After paying 3500 we were handed over two copies of handwritten basic most instructions on what to eat etc.( copy attached). We barely left the clinic and we started getting calls from this Amit from the diagnostic centre recommended by the doctor.
We chose another diagnostic centre instead of the one recommended by the doctor which turned out to be faster and more cost efficient. After getting various tests done I spoke to doctor on 2.07.2018 to visit him to show reports, as per his advise during first visit. After reconfirming on his mobile again we landed at his clinic at 7 pm. Even though the doctor had confirmed on phone that we should just tell reception that we are there to show reports and we would be immediately directed to doctor, we waited for over an hour and were surprised that the girl took our reports and went in, she came out with identical medicines written on piece of paper for me and my mom. On enquiring that we are there to see doctor and this was confirmed with him before we left home, we were told that doctor has seen the report and there is nothing further. Also if we insist to see him then we need to pay another 1600. We drove for over an hour from Malad to reach and over 2 hours to come back in torrential rains of 2nd July only to witness the most insensitive behaviour I have come across.
My questions : -
- Why spent time engaging with patients at reception when there is no use of the details asked,
- How can the doctor be choosing where to get the tests done? Should't it be our prerogative. -
- If you had no intention to meet us during the second visit why were we not told when we called thrice to confirm and reconfirm appointment. I would have sent the reports with a peon instead of wasting my time and effort of my senior citizen mother ?? I am an NRI and visit my family in Mumbai only for a few days a year. I had kept aside a limited time for a fruitful medical consultation of my mother and self, which has been completely exhausted and leaving me with no time to see another doctor.
