Visited Dr. Priyadarshi Ranjan (Urologist)
Note: This doctor is no longer practicing at
Being a navy captain myself, I was a charismatic traveller until I discovered I had chronic kidney disease. Hello there! Myself Capt. Rajiv from Bihar. I was suffering from cronic kidney disease since 2005 . My journey of medical uncertainty started since then. I had consulted almost all the big names in the field of Nephrology, Urology and Transplantation in the country. At this point I would like to mention that my root cause of kidney problem was urological disorder since my childhood. I went through many surgeries including twice bilateral uretric reimplant. Despite best efforts of various other doctors still I suffered from huge financial loss and physical debility and ended up on dialysis bed in the month of April 2018. I decided to go for my kidney transplant and my wife was my potential donor. When I went to my treating nephro and uro they refused her to consider for donation. One more thing I would like to mention since this point no doctor told me the route cause of my problem. Everybody said after this surgery things will be back to normal but no one actually knew how is it going to happen. At this point of disappointment one of my Known recommended me to Great Doctor Priyadarshi Ranjan!!! I accessed his YouTube videos and decided to give a last go. I came to visit him with my wife frankly with no hope!!! . But once I met Dr. Ranjan, I saw a big ray of light of my normal life. He gave me full access on my disease. He explained me everything in very logical, scientific and practical way and Gave me the real reason that my route cause is Neurogenic bladder which damaged my both kidneys. Believe me at that point only I decided to hand over my fate to him. The way he gave me confidence of successful transplant in logical way, I was totally convinced. I can play blind on this that he is the best transplant surgeon in India and a real gentleman. He also sorted out the problem of my wife for which she was refused for donation. God has given special gift to his hands and he is the doctor you can expect a miracle coming. In my case I can say it with full confidence. During my pre transplant evaluation the staff transplant coordinator nurse was dedicated for us during entire test process just to make sure I should not face any difficulty. All the evaluation was done successfully and in a hassle free manner within the stipulated time. My transplant was done On 2nd December 2019 by the blessed hands of Dr. Priyadarshi Ranjan. I was still worried from inside but Dr. Ranjan was fully confident. And I am very much thankful to ** ****** *** **** ***** ***** Dr. Ranjan. ICU stay was also vey caring. Specially would like to thanks to all the supporting and coordinating professionally qualified staff of Dr. Ranjan who helped and guided in very decent and cooperative way in all the process starting from day one till now. Now I am feeling great after transplant and my wife is also perfectly all right. I once again thanks to Dr. Priyadarshi Ranjan Sir for giving me second life. He is a real miracle man and great human being. May God bless him with all success in his life. Once again thanking you Dr. Ranjan.

Visited Dr. Priyadarshi Ranjan (Urologist) For Renal Transplant

KS kalra, 60 years, Mohali, Punjab
Being diabetic for the last 35 years, I developed hypertension and acute kidney nonfunctional issues. It was very painful to get dialysis twice a week.
Looking at deteriorating health, I decided to go renal transplant asap. Then we had to look for certain important aspects like-
1. Identifying my potential Kidney donor
2. Search for highly skilled Renal transplant surgeons.
3. Quality Hospital with modern facilities and supported by passionate staff for post operative care .
Since I was longstanding diabetic and my age was also around 60, We as family searched extensively in cities like Delhi and Chennai to have the best facilities and expertise. Looking at the expertise, logistics and difficulties in follow up process, we zeroed in on our local hospitals in tricity.
Out of all the local hospitals in Tricity, We decided to go with Fortis hospital Mohali . In the process we met Dr Priyadarshi Ranjan , the renal transplant surgeon to understand the options for surgery, who was diligent enough to offer us the option of a Robotic Kidney transplant. On getting the clear understanding of Robotic surgery , we were able to take the final call and all related formalities were initiated. Since we did not have the same blood group donor in our family, swapping was considered as the best option and Dr Ranjan’s team helped us in preparation for the same.
Now It is almost 2 months when I was operated for robotic kidney transplant surgery by Dr Ranjan . The benefits of robotic surgery were clearly evident from the day one as there was only one small cut with few holes on stomach which started healing so fast that hardly any post operation pain was there and recovery truly happened at very quick pace. The experience is so relieving and satisfactory with all parameters like creatinine , Urea and salts are well within normal range. The surgery through robotics technology has shown unbelievable & remarkable distinction over the normal surgery and has surpassed our expectation whatever was promised to us. Needless to say,
Dr Priyadarshi Ranjan is highly passionate and skilful transplant surgeon with magical hands.
Robotic transplant surgery has clear cut edge over conventional open transplant surgery with key results like- smaller cut ( almost one fifth), less blood loss, least pain, faster recovery and no side effects or no infection.
Post operative care in Transplant ICU was excellent and I was discharged from hospital early as expected .
Will Highly recommend the Robotic kidney transplant surgery over the conventional one with technologically advanced SMART technique by Dr Priyadarshi Ranjan, who is the best among medical fraternity.
Visited Dr. Atul Joshi (Laparoscopic Surgeon) For Laparoscopic Hernial Repair
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfaction
After numerous postponements, I finally met Dr. Atul Sharma Joshi, the renowned surgeon at Fortis. As I sat in his office, memories of my visits to my Oxford GP flooded back, reminding me of the warmth and comfort I had experienced. Dr. Joshi's informal and approachable demeanor resonated deeply, evoking a similar sense of warmth. His calm and confident bearing put me at ease and I began to feel safe and reassured under his care.
Following a brief examination, Dr. Joshi walked us to the door, and I knew instantly that I was in capable hands of a surgeon with years of experience and a proven track record, especially in Laparoscopic surgery. His humility, compassion, and non-assuming nature impressed me as essential qualities for medical professionals. Moreover, his sophistication and ability to connect immediately were striking, as were his frank and humorous responses to my numerous questions – a rare blend of wisdom and knowledge. His clear explanations indeed instilled in me deep trust and confidence, making me feel informed and prepared.
And just before the surgery, Dr. Joshi's light-hearted comments put me at ease, dispelling my pre-operative anxiety. His gentle touch and exceptional communication skills inspired confidence, setting him apart. A few informal exchanges with him along with his compassionate tone and empathetic listening comforted me that I was in safe hands. To me his precision and dedication were evident in every aspect, making my surgical experience as comfortable and complication-free as possible. My hospital stay transformed into a peaceful retreat, particularly with his reassuring visits to my room and the engaging conversation that followed. Dr. Joshi patiently addressed my numerous questions with utmost seriousness and without any hint of haste, a refreshing departure from my previous experiences with some doctors who often displayed arrogance and self-importance.
I now eagerly anticipate our post-surgery meeting. Most remarkably, my encounter with Dr. Joshi has cured me of my long-standing "white coat syndrome," which once sent my heart racing in medical settings.
