My issue was Jersey Finger (detached tendon of left hand little finger). The doctor I consulted- Dr. Vineet Sharma (Orthopaedic) contacted Dr. Vishal Gautam as he has hand surgery specialization. After mutual consultation, they decided on an operation to re attach the tendon. For the operation, they connected with an anesthesiologist. All three were fabulous, and the teamwork was perfect. The surgery went well, and the results were better than expected for pain management, scarring, and mobility of joints after removal of internal stitches. The kindness and patience to explain all details was remarkable. Dr. Vishal Gautam guided me throughout the recovery and arranged for a colleague in Mumbai to help with the dressings and external suture removal. The cost of operation and thereafter was very reasonable.

Throughout the period of pre operation to beginning of physiotherapy that has started now, Dr. Gautam has ensured that all my concern are addressed, questions answered (in person or WhatsApp), progress monitored and kept my comfort and morale levels high. This to me was, well, surgical precision at all levels.
