Zolmitriptan
Description
Zolmitriptan is used to reduce the symptoms of migraine headaches. It inhibits the substances that cause headaches and sensitivity to sound and light. It does not help in the prevention and reduction of frequent attacks of a migraine headache.

Arrhythmias

This medicine should be used with caution due to an increased risk of side effects such as tightness of chest, throat, and neck. Any such symptoms should be reported to the doctor on priority. Close monitoring of heart function is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Your doctor may prescribe an alternative medicine based on your clinical condition.
Medicine overuse
Zolmitriptan should not be overused. Overuse of this medicine may cause worsening of the headaches. This medicine should be used exactly as prescribed.
Missed Dose
If a dose of Zolmitriptan is missed, take the dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
