Description
Ziblok H (12.5/25 mg) Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. Frequent monitoring of blood pressure and electrolytes level is necessary during treatment with this medicine. Patients are advised to maintain a strict diet and exercise regimen along with this medicine for the best possible effect.

Heart diseases

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with heart diseases such as a heart block, sinus bradycardia, heart failure, cardiogenic shock, or sick sinus syndrome since it may worsen the patient's condition.

How it works
Hydrochlorothiazide increases the excretion of water and sodium through the urine. Atenolol relaxes the blood vessels and reduces the heart rate, promoting a smooth flow of the blood. Their combination is thus effective in reducing the blood pressure.
