Description
Urief 4 mg Tablet is an antiadrenergic medicine, which is used to treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (prostate enlargement). This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe kidney function or liver function impairment and patients less than 18 years of age.

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients receiving therapy with CYP3A4 inhibitors due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects.

Pregnancy

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women.

Breast-feeding

This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women.
General warnings

Elderly patients

This medicine should be used with caution in elderly patients due to the increased risk of very low blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is necessary for these patients. Report any unusual symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Cataract surgery

This medicine may increase the risk of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome. Patients undergoing cataract surgery should inform the surgeon about the current or previous use of this medicine, so that the surgeon can make appropriate changes in the surgical technique to reduce the risk of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome.

Driving or operating machinery

This medicine may cause blurred vision, dizziness, or drowsiness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness like driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.
