Caution should be exercised while taking Taxim-O CV Dry Syrup in colitis. It may increase the risk of diarrhoea and severe and life-threatening colitis. This medicine alters the normal flora of the colon leading to overgrowth of colitis causing bacteria. Close monitoring of the clinical condition is indicated. Consult your doctor if you experience diarrhoea, abdominal pain, blood in stools, etc.
Caution should be exercised while taking Taxim-O CV Dry Syrup in patients with kidney disease. This medicine gets excreted by the kidneys and impaired kidney increases the risk of accumulation of this medicine in the kidneys. This may lead to undesirable effects and may worsen the compromised kidneys. Close monitoring of kidney function is indicated.
