Description
Salvosh 2 % Cream is a topical medicine used in the treatment and prevention of acne and certain skin conditions. It unplugs the blocked skin pores to allow warts to shrink. It also works by softening and loosening the dry, scaly, or thickened skin, causing shedding of the outer layer of the skin. This kills microbes, clears out skin issues and helps in the recovery of the skin. Salvosh 2 % Cream can cause some side effects like whitening of the skin, skin rashes, peeling of the skin and irritation at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid contact with your eyes and nose. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Stop using this medicine if you experience a severe headache, ringing in the ears, dizziness, breathing difficulty or severe burning of the skin. This medicine should not be used to treat genital warts, warts on the face, warts with hair, warts in the nose or mouth, moles. Salvosh 2 % Cream is meant for external use only. Apply this cream to the affected area and cover the treated area at night. Preferably, the skin should be hydrated for at least five minutes prior to application. Wash it off in the morning and if excessive drying or irritation occurs, soothing cream or lotion may be preferred. Do not stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor. Salvosh 2 % Cream is safe if used for the short term. It is not likely to interact with any medicines taken orally or as an injection. However, to ensure its safety, inform your doctor if you are using any other topical medications. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding before using this medicine. Avoid unnecessary sun exposure while using this cream.

Salicylism

External use

Salvosh 2 % Cream is only recommended for external use. Avoid contact with the mouth, eyes, mucous membranes, cuts, grazes, or wounds. Rinse with water in case of accidental contact.

Use in children

Salvosh 2 % Cream is not recommended for use in children below the age of 2 years as the safety and efficacy data are not available.

Severe Rash

Thyroid Function test

protein-bound iodine test also called as PBI test that measures thyroid function by measuring the concentration of iodine bound to proteins circulating in the bloodstream. Long term use of Salvosh 2 % Cream may lead to its systemic absorption and may affect the result of this test. Hence, inform your doctor that you are using this cream before going for a test.
