Description
Rosuchek D 5 Tablet is a combination medicine that consists of Rosuvastatin and Vitamin D3. It is used in the treatment of hyperlipidaemia (a condition in which there are high levels of fat particles (lipids) in the blood). This medicine reduces the bad cholesterol level and fat in your blood and thus prevents the risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to a decrease in blood supply to your brain). Rosuchek D 5 Tablet works by reducing the formation of cholesterol in the body by inhibiting the HMG-CoA-reductase (an enzyme that is required to make cholesterol). Rosuchek D 5 Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, stomach pain, constipation, headache and weakness. Usually, these side effects resolve on their own. Consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking Rosuchek D 5 Tablet as it may cause dizziness. Rosuchek D 5 Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take it with or without food or as advised by your doctor. Take this medicine at the same time every day for ease of remembering. Do not stop taking Rosuchek D 5 Tablet without consulting your doctor. Rosuchek D 5 Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. This medicine may interact with many other medicines. Rosuchek D 5 Tablet is a combination of Rosuvastatin and Vitamin D3.
