Description
Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet is a combination of Hydrochlorothiazide and Metoprolol. It is used for the treatment of high blood pressure when a single medicine is not effective. It helps in reducing the risk of future heart complications such as heart attack (blockage of heart muscles due to the formation of plaques) and stroke (brain damage that occurs when the blood flow to a part of the brain is reduced or interrupted). Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet helps in relaxing the blood vessels, thereby controlling high blood pressure. Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet may cause common side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, nausea/vomiting, slow heart rate, fatigue, diarrhoea/constipation, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or worsen. Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet can be taken with or without food. For ease of remembering, take it around the same time every day. Avoid taking more or less than the recommended dose. You may have to take this medicine for the long-term depending on your condition. Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor advises you to do so. Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have a history of diabetes or pre-existing lung, liver, kidney, or heart problems before beginning treatment with this medicine. Close evaluation with respect to your current medicines is necessary to avoid any undesired effects. Allergy

Heart diseases

Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet is not recommended if you have heart problems such as sinus bradycardia (slow heart rate), sick sinus syndrome (a condition that may result in irregular heartbeats), decompensated heart failure (a sudden worsening of the signs and symptoms of heart failure, which typically includes difficulty breathing, leg or feet swelling, and fatigue), heart block greater than first degree (a condition where the heartbeats are slow or abnormal), cardiogenic shock (conditions where your heart is unable to supply enough blood to your body), or blocked blood vessels. This medicine may further worsen your condition.

Sports

Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet is a combination of Hydrochlorothiazide and Metoprolol, both of which are prohibited for use while participating in certain sports. Diabetes

Kidney Disease

Myasthenia Gravis

Phaeochromocytoma

Psoriasis

Lung disease

Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet should be used with caution if you have respiratory conditions such as asthma (a condition in which the airways become inflamed and produce extra mucous, which makes it difficult to breathe) or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD; a group of lung diseases that block airflow and make it difficult to breathe). Revelol H (12.5/50 mg) Tablet may cause shortness of breath and also worsen other respiratory symptoms.
