How it works
Escitalopram works by increasing the amount of a chemical substance in the brain which helps in maintaining the psychological balance. Clonazepam works by increasing the activity of certain chemicals which help in decreasing the uncontrolled, excitatory activity in the brain. The combination is thus better effective in treating patients suffering from both depression and anxiety disorders.
