Odoxil 250 MG Premix is an antibiotic medicine that contains cefadroxil as an active ingredient. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, skin, urinary tract, etc. It is also used in the treatment of impetigo (a skin infection caused by bacteria). This medicine prevents infection by killing or stopping the growth of the bacteria. Odoxil 250 MG Premix is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Odoxil 250 MG Premix shows some side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Consult your doctor if any side effects persist or bother you. Odoxil 250 MG Premix is an effective medicine used in children, adolescents and adults. Odoxil 250 MG Premix can be taken with or without food. The dose and frequency of medicine will be decided by your doctor based on the type of infection and its severity. For the ease of remembering, use this medicine at the same time every day. Once you started using this medicine, ensure that the entire course of treatment is completed. Avoid unnecessary use of Odoxil 250 MG Premix as excessive use may cause the bacteria to become resistant to treatment.
