Description

Nitrendipine is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. Patients are advised to follow a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Hepatic disorders

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of hepatic impairment due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects including a very low blood pressure. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Angina pectoris

This medicine should be used with caution due to the increased risk of angina pectoris. This risk is especially higher in patients with heart diseases and especially at the beginning of therapy. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Driving or operating machines

This medicine may cause symptoms such as dizziness in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating heavy machinery if you experience these symptoms while taking this medicine.
