Allergy

General warnings

Use in last trimester of pregnancy

This medicine is not recommended for use in women in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Hypertension

Nilitis 750 mg Tablet may cause new-onset hypertension or may worsen the pre-existing hypertensive condition. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended throughout the course of therapy. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Effect on female fertility

Nilitis 750 mg Tablet may cause an impairment of female fertility in some cases. Hence, it is not recommended for use in women of childbearing potential who want to conceive.

Geriatric use

Caution is advised while using this medicine in the elderly patients due to an increased risk of excessive bleeding. Appropriate dose adjustments may be required based on the clinical condition. Report any symptoms such as unusual bleeding or bruising, blood in vomit or stool, etc. to the doctor immediately.

Masking of infections

Nilitis 750 mg Tablet may mask the signs or symptoms of infections such as fever, pain, and swelling.

Missed Dose

Asthma

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of NSAID-sensitive or aspirin-sensitive asthma. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be done under your doctor's supervision.

Fluid retention and edema

This medicine may cause fluid retention and edema in some patients. Close monitoring of blood pressure, electrolyte levels, and heart function may be required based on the clinical condition. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary in some cases.

Skin rash

This medicine may cause fatal skin allergies without any warnings in some patients. Signs and symptoms such as rashes, hives, fever, or other allergic symptoms should be reported to the doctor without any delay. Renal Dysfunction

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of kidney diseases or active kidney diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Thrombosis

Nilitis 750 mg Tablet may worsen the risk of heart attack and stroke when used for a prolonged period of time. Addition of antiplatelet medicines may be required to reduce the risk of thrombotic events. Patients are advised to seek emergency medical attention in case of any unusual weakness, shortness of breath, or chest pain. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition.

Anemia

Nilitis 750 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with a history of anemia or patients predisposed to anemia since it may cause a decrease in the hemoglobin and hematocrit levels. Close monitoring of hemoglobin and hematocrit levels is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Hyperkalemia

This medicine should be used with caution due to an increase in the risk of hyperkalemia (increased potassium levels). This risk is especially higher in patients with a history of kidney diseases. Close monitoring of potassium levels, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Gastro-Intestinal toxicity

This medicine may cause damage to the stomach, intestines, liver, etc., especially on prolonged use. Report any symptoms such as chronic indigestion, blood in stool or vomit, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
