Description
Mesacol 500 mg Suppository is used for the treatment of mildly to moderately active ulcerative proctitis (a mild form of ulcerative colitis, involving only the rectum), characterized by rectal bleeding, bloody diarrhea, redness, and ulcerations of the lining of the rectum. It acts locally in the rectum to reduce these symptoms and therefore intended for rectal use only.
