General warnings

Diarrhea

Use of this medicine may cause diarrhea or loose stools in the first few days of treatment. Contact your doctor if the complication is not resolved within 3-4 days.

Antibiotic therapy

This medicine should not be taken with antibiotics since the risk of gastric irritation and persistent diarrhea is significantly high in such cases. Your doctor may make appropriate changes to your therapy based on your clinical condition.

Diagnostic tests

It is recommended to monitor liver function, kidney function, complete blood count, and urine tests every six months during treatment with this medicine.

Intense yellowing of urine

Use of this medicine may cause intense yellow coloration of the urine. This is mainly due to the excretion of end products and may not be indicative of any complication.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose. Contact your doctor if you miss more than one scheduled dose.
