Lavotears 0.3% Eye Ointment is known as artificial tears. It is used in the treatment of dry eyes (an eye condition that occurs when the eyes do not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly). This medicine provides relief from symptoms such as burning, itching, irritation, or discomfort in your eyes. Lavotears 0.3% Eye Ointment may cause side effects such as eye pain, irritation, and vision disturbances. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Avoid driving or operating machines if you experience these symptoms.
