Description
Ketostar 0.5% Eye Drops are antifungal medicine that contains ketoconazole as an active ingredient. It is used in the treatment of blepharitis, an infection of the eyelids caused by fungi. It works by stopping the fungal cell membrane formation. Thus, it stops the further growth and spreading of infection. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below the age of 18 years. Ketostar 0.5% Eye Drops may cause side effects such as pain, irritation in the eyes and vision disturbances. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or become severe. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of allergic reactions such as severe itching, redness, eye irritation, blurred vision, or sensitivity to light. Ketostar 0.5% Eye Drops should be avoided if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using contact lenses or any other eye drops as this medicine may cause undesirable effects.
