Description
Isolazine Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of congestive heart failure. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have anemia or low levels of hemoglobin in the blood due to the increased risk of worsening the patient's condition.

Pregnancy

This medicine is not recommended for use in pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. Discuss all the risks and benefits with your doctor before taking this medicine.

Breast-feeding

This medicine is not recommended for use in breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary. All the risks and benefits should be discussed with the doctor before taking this medicine.
General warnings

Fall in blood pressure

Use of this medicine can cause a fall in blood pressure in general and may make you feel dizzy especially while getting up from lying or sitting position (Postural hypotension).

Withdrawal symptoms

Abrupt discontinuation of this medicine may increase the risk of adverse effects. A gradual dose reduction is recommended to avoid these reactions. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Nitrate free interval

The likelihood of the development of drug tolerance is very high if this medicine is taken very regularly. A minimal amount of nitrate-free time is required to avoid tolerance is 10-12 hr/day. The tolerance developed is in general for nitrates and may affect other medicines containing nitrates (cross-tolerance).

Driving and operating machinery

This medicine may cause symptoms such as dizziness, visual disturbances, fainting, weakness, etc. in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during or immediately after receiving this medicine.

Use in children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Systemic lupus erythematosus

Prolonged use of this medicine may increase the risk of systemic lupus erythematosus. The medicine should be discontinued under the doctor's supervision if the patient experiences any unusual reactions.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Liver Disease

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from liver diseases due to an increase in the risk of serious adverse effects. Close monitoring of liver function is advised while taking this medicine. Report any symptoms of confusion or jaundice to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.
