Description
Inflacol 400 mg Tablet is used for the treatment of mild to moderate ulcerative colitis, a condition that causes swelling and sores in the lining of the colon (large intestine) and rectum. It helps in relieving the symptoms of ulcerative colitis such as rectal bleeding, diarrhoea and stomach discomfort by stopping the body from producing a certain substance that may cause swelling. Inflacol 400 mg Tablet can cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache etc. Most of these side effects are temporary and resolve on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects are getting persistent. Avoid driving vehicles and operating machines while taking this medicine as it may make you feel dizzy. Inflacol 400 mg Tablet is taken with food to avoid stomach discomfort. Your dose will be dependant on the severity of your infection. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor as your symptoms could reoccur. Inflacol 400 mg Tablet is not recommended in children below 18 years of age. Inform your doctor about your current medications and medical conditions before taking this medicine. This will help your doctor to adjust your dose for avoiding any side effects. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
