This medicine should be administered with caution in patients with a known history of kidney stones due to the increased risk of formation of more kidney stones. You are advised to drink plenty of fluids to reduce the risk of dehydration, kidney stones, and other kidney problems. Report any symptoms such as blood in the urine, lower abdominal pain, or any urinary urgency to the doctor on priority. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue the medicine based on your clinical condition.
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of liver disease or active liver disease due to the increased risk of adverse effects. Appropriate dose adjustments may be necessary based on the severity of liver disease. Close monitoring of liver functions is advised during treatment with this medicine.
Food interactions
It is recommended to take this medicine on an empty stomach since large amounts of food decrease the absorption of this medicine.
