Description
Hyscab 5% Cream is a medicine that contains Permethrin. It is used for the treatment of scabies in adults and children aged from 2 months, and crab lice in adults. This medicine works by killing the mites, lice and their eggs thereby curing the infection. Hyscab 5% Cream has some side effects like itching, redness, and rash at the site of application. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a long time or worsen. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Hyscab 5% Cream is recommended for external use only. Clean the affected area before applying this cream. Gently apply a thin layer of this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, and mouth as it may cause irritation. Do not apply more than the prescribed amounts. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after each application. Leave it on your skin for up to 8-12 hours, then wash the cream off with soap and water. It is usually used once a week. If your condition does not improve after the first use, consult your doctor. After the treatment, the itching may persist for four weeks. Hyscab 5% Cream is not recommended for use in children below 2 months of age as the safety and efficacy data for use are not available. Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions and all your current medicines. Apply Hyscab 5% Cream as instructed by your doctor. Follow all the usage instructions mentioned on the label or the package leaflet.
