Description
Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet is an anti-fungal medicine that contains ketoconazole as an active ingredient. It is used in the treatment of various fungal infections. This medicine is used mainly for the treatment of infections of the skin and in some cases of the lungs caused by fungi. It damages the cell membrane of the fungus which kills it and prevents the further spread of fungal infections. Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet use may show side effects such as nausea, dizziness, fatigue, headache, fever, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Avoid driving a vehicle or operating a machine after taking this medicine as it may affect your concentration and make you feel sleepy. Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet should be used as directed by your physician. Complete the prescribed course of this medicine to get its maximum benefits. You can take it with food. Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney diseases or heart problems before taking this medicine. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet use may increase the damage caused by alcohol. In case of late or ineffectiveness of the therapy, consult your physician.

Allergy

QT Interval prolonging drugs

Liver Disease

QT prolongation

An electrical heartbeat disturbance called prolonged QT intervals can occur with the use of Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet especially if you are taking heart medications. Your doctor may closely monitor your heart function and may adjust the dose of this medicine if required.

Kidney disease

Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet is not recommended if you have any kidney diseases as may worsen your condition and may cause kidney damage. Your doctor may closely monitor your kidney function and may adjust the dose of this medicine if required.

Use in Children

Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet is not recommended to use in children less than 12 years of age as no safety data is available.

Adrenal insufficiency

High dose or prolong therapy with Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet may negatively affect the adrenal gland function and lead to reduced secretion of hormones from the adrenal gland.

Driving or Operating machinery

Therapy with Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet may cause dizziness, confusion, disorientation, etc. Hence, it is advised not to perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating a machine if you experience any of these symptoms.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose of Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose

Take Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet as advised by the doctor. Do not take in larger amounts than advised. It is not used to treat a common cold, flu, or other viral infections. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Take it with food, preferably at the same time every day. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Hyphoral 200 MG Tablet.
