Description
Gamascab 1 % Lotion is an anti-parasite medicine. It is used to treat scabies, a contagious itchy skin condition caused by mites. This medicine works by killing the parasites. Gamascab 1 % Lotion shows some side effects like dry skin, skin irritation, skin rash, etc. These side effects are usually mild and may subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they bother you for a long time or become severe. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Gamascab 1 % Lotion is for external use only. Gently apply a thin layer of this medicine on the affected area as instructed by your doctor. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after each application. Avoid using more or less than the recommended dose. Do not leave it on your skin for more than 8-12 hours as it may increase the risk of side effects. Wash off the lotion with warm water. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth as it may cause irritation. Gamascab 1 % Lotion may not be suitable for all people. Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions, liver problems, seizures (fits), or are taking any medicines. Allergy

Neurotoxicity

Diseases

Inform your doctor if you have human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, seizures (fits), head injury, liver disorder, etc. before using Gamascab 1 % Lotion as it may increase the risk of seizures.

Skin disorder

Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions such as psoriasis (itchy skin with red scaly patches), dermatitis (skin irritation), etc. due to the increased risk of serious side effects with Gamascab 1 % Lotion.

External use

Gamascab 1 % Lotion is recommended for external use only. Avoid contact with your mouth and eyes. Rinse thoroughly with water in case of accidental contact.

Missed Dose

Gamascab 1 % Lotion should be used only once. Hence, there is no possibility of missing a dose. Using this medicine more than once may cause serious side effects.

Gamascab 1 % Lotion is meant for external use only. Use this medicine exactly as instructed by your doctor. Follow all dosing instructions mentioned on the label or the package insert. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth. If the medicine is swallowed, seek immediate medical help. Wait for at least one hour after bathing or showering before putting Gamascab 1 % Lotion on the skin. Wet or warm skin can cause faster absorption of this medicine through the skin and increase the risk of side effects. Do not keep this medicine for more than 8-12 hours on your skin. Wash it with warm water after 8-12 hours. Do not use this medicine more than once to treat an attack of scabies. Itchy skin may persist for weeks even after the parasites are dead. Wash your clothes, towel, and bedsheet with hot water after using this medication to avoid the spread of this skin condition and the harmful side effects associated with the use of this lotion.
