Description
Fusigen 2 % Spray is an antibiotic medicine that is primarily used in the treatment of bacterial infections of skin and hair follicles. It is also used to provide relief from symptoms such as swelling, redness, pain, itching, rashes, discharge from the infected site associated with bacterial infections like impetigo and folliculitis. This medicine works by stopping protein synthesis in bacteria thereby killing the bacteria. Fusigen 2 % Spray may cause some side effects like dry skin, rashes, blistering of the skin, irritation or burning sensation at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Your doctor may suggest you to perform a patch test, before starting treatment with Fusidic acid to check if this medicine is safe and non-allergenic for you. Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Fusigen 2 % Spray is for external use only. It is available as creams, ointment, dusting powder and lotion dosage forms. Your doctor will decide the dosage form, dose and duration of use based on your condition. Before application clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin layer over the affected parts of the skin. Avoid direct contact with your eyes, nose and mouth. Rinse with water immediately if the medicine comes in contact with these areas. Fusigen 2 % Spray may take a few days to improve your condition. Therefore, complete the whole treatment for its better result. Use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor for the recommended duration only. Consult your doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding. Contact your doctor if the symptoms do not improve or resolve even after two weeks of use.
