Description
Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT is an antibiotic medicine that contains cefadroxil as an active ingredient. It is used to treat bacterial infections of the throat, skin, soft tissues, urinary tract, etc. It kills the bacteria, thereby stops the infection from spreading. Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Your doctor may advise this medicine alone or in combination with other medications to treat bacterial infections. Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT has side effects like diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, weakness, nausea, and vomiting. Consult your doctor if any side effects are seen for a longer period. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age. Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT can be taken with or without food. The dose of this medicine and duration will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your infection. For the ease of remembering, take it at the same time every day. Once the antibiotic is started, ensure that the entire course of treatment is completed. Avoid unnecessary use of Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT, as excessive use may cause the bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics. Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT effects may be delayed when taken immediately after receiving live vaccines. Therefore, take this medicine at least 1-2 hours after taking the vaccine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, before using Fedrox 125 MG Tablet DT. If you have liver or kidney diseases, do not use this medicine without consulting your doctor.
