Description
Envas 1.25 MG Injection is used in the treatment of high blood pressure. It may also be used in the treatment of congestive heart failure which is a type of heart disease, characterized by thickening of the walls of the left ventricle.

Allergy

General warnings

Hypotension

Symptomatic hypotension may occur in patients with volume depletion or patients who are treated with high-dose diuretics. It is advised to correct this condition before initiating treatment with this medicine. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is recommended during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments should be done based on the clinical condition.

Hyperkalemia

This medicine may increase potassium levels in the blood (hyperkalemia). This may cause serious side effects such as fatal cardiac rhythm irregularities. It is advised to avoid potassium-rich foods (potatoes, bananas) and other medicines that may increase potassium levels (ACE inhibitors, potassium-sparing diuretics, and potassium supplements) during treatment with this medicine.

Cough

This medicine may cause a persistent nonproductive cough in some patients. It is resolved when the medicine is discontinued.

Impaired liver function

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver diseases due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of liver function is recommended for such patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
