Description
Duvanta 40 MG Tablet is an antidepressant. This medication is prescribed to treat depression and other mood disorders such as anxiety. It is also used to treat diabetic neuropathic pain (nerve damage due to diabetes) and fibromyalgia (widespread pain in the body). Duvanta 40 MG Tablet works by increasing the level of chemical transmitters (serotonin and norepinephrine) in the brain that help maintain mental balance and stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Duvanta 40 MG Tablet can show side effects like nausea, dry mouth, heartburn, etc. Consult your doctor if side effects are bothering you or getting persistent. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines as this medicine can make you feel drowsy or dizzy. Duvanta 40 MG Tablet is usually taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. Your dose will be dependent on the severity of your condition. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in your body. Allergy

Narrow angle glaucoma

Narrow-angle glaucoma is a condition in which pressure inside your eyes increases. It happens due to fluid build-up caused by blocked drainage canals. Duvanta 40 MG Tablet is not recommended if you have narrow-angle glaucoma as it may increase the risk of mydriasis (a condition in which the pupil of the eye gets widened due to increased eye pressure).

Suicidal thoughts

Orthostatic hypotension and fall

Abnormal bleeding
